Powerful is here, and you can be among the first to see it! This upbeat film looks at how we can make energy more democratic and democracy more energetic. Come and see how the transition to renewable energy can renew us as individuals and as a society.

INVITATIONS: Admission is “by invitation only” in order to maintain Powerful’s status as a film not yet screened commercially, which means it will remain eligible for submission to film festivals. To receive your official e-invitation, email david@davidc.ca by June 4. We are issuing e-invitations to friends, family, funders, and all members of the community who request one.

SEATING: Come early, as seating is limited to 500, and we expect big crowd.

COST: Admission is free, but donations are most welcome. Cash donations will be accepted, and forms will be available for major donations (eligible for tax receipt) to the Films for Change program run by Tucker House Renewal Centre, a Living Lightly partner.

GETTING THERE: Parking for bikes and cars is available on site. Consider carpooling, cycling or coming by bus (OC Transpo Route 8 and STO Routes 21, 31, 33, 35, 67, 77). Please note the traffic restrictions on the Alexandra Bridge during its reconstruction.
